I'm en route to Scotland as we speak...
1. Kings Cross station is way more exciting than SLC airport, which I have a certain amount of disdain for anyway so this was not difficult to accomplish... There's a certain excitement in the air at the train station that doesn't exist in airports. Perhaps humans were always meant to travel on the ground...
3. Um... leg room and tables AND plugs.
4. Beautiful passing countryside.
5. A trash can that is conveniently placed right next to me, so I don't have to wait for the stewardess to pass by as I attempt to sleep with a cup of ice placed precariously on the faulty tray that serves as a table.
6. Fresh air. (I really despise the recycled kind...)
7. No seat belt sign that pops up right when my apple juice hits my bladder.
8. It sways like the coach. It's gonna be a good nap...
9. Chello... Wi-fi.
I feel like I should get something from Edinburgh. Suggestions? Or requests (Mom, Sara, and Lol)?

You make some good points and I LOVEEE planes, but even I'm a little convinced. Also, there's no kerfuffle at the airport and arriving a squillion hours before you leave to check-in. Yes, I could definitely live without that! xo
